Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

  • Manage drayage operations to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Oversee the movement of cargo across various transportation modes.
  • Work collaboratively with carriers to ensure seamless logistics.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee budget management and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Negotiate favorable rates with carriers to maximize profitability.

Performance Analysis and Improvement:

  • Evaluate operational key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the operations.

Customer Engagement and Team Collaboration:

  • Guarantee effective service delivery and communication with clients.
  • Foster collaboration among internal teams for optimal performance.

Team Leadership and Operational Consistency:

  • Lead operations to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Provide support during peak periods or staffing shortages.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Relevant experience in drayage and intermodal operations (preferred).
  • Proficiency in English and French.
  • Background in sales development and operational management within the transportation sector.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Capability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
