Operations and Administrative Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Operations Manager to join our team at Mount Saint Vincent University Students Union. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating administrative procedures, managing office services, and providing leadership to office support staff.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Operations
- Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Delegate work to office support staff to ensure effective task management
- Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including budget planning and control
- Office Services Management
- Co-ordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services
- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Leadership and Development
- Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources, or other administrative services
- Interview, hire, and provide training for staff to ensure effective team performance
- Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating administrative services
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience
- 5 years or more of experience in administrative operations management
- Language
- English language proficiency
- Work Arrangements
- Permanent full-time position
- 40 hours per week
