Machinist Technician

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at 2399827 Ontario Ltd. as a key member of our manufacturing department.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and performing precision machining tasks to meet production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain machine tools, including automatic lathes, duplicators, and engine lathes.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production.
- Perform precision machining tasks, including fitting and assembling components, and maintaining precision measuring instruments.
- Set up and adjust production machinery/tools to meet production requirements.
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
- Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
- Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
The successful candidate will work in a general manufacturing environment with a physically demanding role.
