Recreation Assistant

Are you passionate about creating meaningful experiences for seniors? Do you have a knack for planning engaging activities and building strong relationships? We're seeking a Recreation Assistant to join our team at Aspira Peninsula Retirement Living
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement recreation programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
- Collaborate with the Team Leader to design and deliver activities that promote social interaction, physical activity, and cognitive stimulation.
- Assist in monitoring resident participation and feedback, and make adjustments to programs as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a warm and welcoming environment for all residents.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of our recreation program.
- Diploma or Certificate in Recreation/Leisure Studies or equivalent.
- Experience working with seniors, including an understanding of motivation concepts.
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
- Valid driver's license (Class F or provincial equivalent).
- Ability to pass a Criminal Records Check.
