Laboratory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Laboratory Manager to join our team at William Osler Health System. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management of our laboratory services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement laboratory strategic plans, goals, and objectives in collaboration with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate laboratory services, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to laboratory staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Monitor and analyze laboratory performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and laboratory policies and procedures.
- Completion of an accredited medical laboratory technology diploma program or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of six years supervisory experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong strategic leadership and management skills, with experience in complex organizations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of laboratory information systems, data collection, and financial management.
