Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grocery Supervisor to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a Grocery Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of grocery clerks and ensuring the smooth operation of our grocery department.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of grocery clerks and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and efficient store operations.
- Manage inventory and stock levels to ensure that our shelves are fully stocked and that we have the right products in the right quantities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty.
- Monitor and control costs to ensure that we are operating within budget and that we are making the most of our resources.
- Provide legendary service to our customers and ensure that they have a positive shopping experience.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that we are providing a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that we are always improving and innovating.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent and relevant experience in a retail or grocery environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide a team of grocery clerks.
- Excellent customer service skills to provide legendary service to our customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
