Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Hotel Moncton. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
