Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Equipment Technician to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining auxiliary equipment, including conveyors, tables, decoration, and lidding equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up and maintain auxiliary equipment, including conveyors, tables, decoration, and lidding equipment, as directed by the Operations Manager.
  • Assist Mold Setup Team: Assist the mold setup team in completing all preventative maintenance on secondary equipment.
  • Follow Safety Protocols: Follow all work instructions and safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.
  • Perform Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Requirements
  • Mechanical Ability: Must be mechanically able and have experience in an industrial environment.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Be able to work in a team concept environment and have good communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting: Must have a background in troubleshooting industrial equipment problems.
  • Computer Literacy: Must be computer literate.
  • Time Management: Must demonstrate ability to manage time, projects, and problem-solving sessions.
  • Flexibility: Must be able to work flexible hours and be available on a 24-hour clock periodically.
  • Safety Attitude: Must have a safety attitude and mindset, and a thorough understanding of quality measurements.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
  • Stores Management: Experience with stores management and computerized maintenance management systems.
