Job Title: Educator Programs Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator to lead our educator programs in support of Science World's mission. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that Science World is a trusted resource and catalyst for quality K-12 science learning in BC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead professional development programs for BC K-12 teachers, focusing on STEAM education and inquiry-based learning.
  • Coordinate the delivery of professional development programs, both online and in-person, throughout BC.
  • Design and develop resources for BC K-12 teachers, including multidisciplinary learning, coding, and digital skills.
  • Collaborate with the Experiential Learning team to provide best practices in pedagogy and teacher engagement.
  • Develop and implement an annual plan, including critical projects, performance indicators, and priority audiences.
  • Present and participate at key conferences and professional association meetings.
  • Document and evaluate professional development programming.
  • Collect participant data and assess data collection methods to ensure accurate reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Certified teacher with a minimum of 2 years classroom experience (or equivalent).
  • Experience with innovative science teaching methods, including inquiry and problem-based learning.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and team work skills.
  • Professional track record in developing and implementing successful education programs and resources.
What We Offer:

Science World offers a competitive salary range of $64,000 to $72,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health, dental, and RRSP/TFSA plan. We also offer generous paid time off, personal enrichment days, and professional development opportunities.
