Job Title: Human Resources Supervisor

King Tandoori Bar and Grill is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing human resources policies and programs that support the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and implement human resources policies and programs that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Mediate labour disputes and grievances in a fair and impartial manner.
  • Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to ensure equity and fairness.
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to support employee growth and development.
  • Manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure effective team performance.
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers.
  • Oversee payroll administration to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Values and ethics that align with the company's mission and values.
