Job Summary

A Rigid-Flex Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of job orders within or between departments, ensuring prompt progress of goods to conform with production schedules and on-time delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and expedite the flow of job orders to ensure timely completion and delivery.
  • Collaborate with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates.
  • Serve as a liaison between quality, engineering, customer service, production control, and manufacturing to provide feedback on potential bottleneck areas.
  • Prepare daily documentation and reports on progress of work and production issues.
  • Participate in daily production meetings to discuss factory problems, situations, and current production schedules.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
  • Working knowledge and use of Paradigm Reports.
  • Thorough knowledge of Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Able to handle situations involving sensitive issues with professionalism and tact.
  • Capable of quickly accessing a situation and making appropriate decisions.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Computerized numerical control experience helpful.
