About the Role

OneSky Community Resources is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Development Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the inclusion of children with developmental delays in childcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive intakes to determine support needs for children and their families.
  • Develop and implement individual service plans that reflect the choices and priorities of families.
  • Collaborate with childcare providers to develop inclusive philosophies, practices, and policies.
  • Provide training and support to childcare staff to enhance their skills in inclusive practices.
  • Work with community partners to enhance services and resources available to children with support needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in inclusive childcare settings or a combination of related training and experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of family-centered practice, early intervention, and child development.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
  • Successful criminal record check and current First Aid certification.
