Clinical Operations Director

Fraser Health is seeking a seasoned healthcare leader to fill the position of Director, Clinical Operations. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of mental health and substance use services in the Fraser region.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the delivery of mental health and substance use services, ensuring alignment with Fraser Health's priorities and goals.
- Program Development and Integration: Oversee the development and integration of programs and services, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Operational Excellence: Foster a culture of operational excellence, ensuring efficient use of resources, effective communication, and high-quality patient care.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems to monitor and evaluate program and individual performance, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Provide leadership and guidance to teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and open communication.
- Education and Experience: Master's degree in a field related to healthcare management, supplemented by 7-10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in healthcare.
- Competencies: Demonstrated leadership practices, including clear, caring, and courageous leadership, with the ability to create conditions for people to succeed.
- Professional/Technical Capabilities: Proven leadership in complex organizational change, ability to work within a matrix reporting structure, and sound working knowledge of planning concepts related to service delivery, budgeting, staffing, quality, and strategic initiatives.
