Job Summary

PSP Fabricating Inc is seeking a skilled Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our team. As an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality products on a piece-work or production basis.
  • Use sewing guides and tension devices to achieve precise stitching and minimize errors.
  • Complete and maintain accurate production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as textile production or garment assembly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Knowledge of industrial sewing machines and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a well-lit and ventilated production area with moderate noise levels.
  • Stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks with minimal breaks.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
