Job Summary

We are seeking a Ride Operator to join our team at Méga Parc, the only indoor amusement park in Eastern Canada. As a Ride Operator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety of our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers at the entrance to the park and at the entrance to the rides
  • Operate one of the 16 rides in accordance with established customer service and safety standards
  • Check the sizes required according to the requirements of the carousel
  • Enforce the safety instructions specific to each carousel
  • Carefully monitor the carousel and its occupants when the carousel is in operation
  • Once the merry-go-round has completely stopped, disembark customers following the safety rules and direct them to the exit
  • Animate children's parties and queues
  • Operate a cash register system (POS)
  • During periods of low traffic, participate in certain basic housekeeping tasks

Requirements

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Have interpersonal skills, be social, polite, courteous, and respectful
  • Be cheerful, smiling, and dynamic
  • Be rigorous, attentive, and oriented towards excellence in customer service
  • Enjoy working with children
