Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in a practical setting under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. As a Pharmacy Student Assistant, you will have the chance to prepare for your career in the pharmacy profession by working in a real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Discuss your goals and objectives with your Coach and ask questions to ensure you are on the right track.
  • Understand the policies and procedures of the pharmacy site to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Familiarize yourself with program activities and learning objectives to stay focused on your goals.
  • Integrate activities with job-related responsibilities to maximize your learning experience.
  • Meet regularly with your Coach to receive feedback and guidance.
  • Assume responsibility for your own learning and take ownership of your development.
  • Complete program activities as applicable, including OTC scenarios, topic of the week, project of the month, follow-ups, patient consultations, clinics, and community outreach.
  • Meet program expectations and deadlines, including completing the Studentship Planning Guide and evaluations with your Coach.
Compensation

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $17.85 per hour, with the rate determined based on relevant experience.
