Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for nuclear medicine examinations, ensuring accurate identification and safety procedures.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures, including bone, brain, thyroid, liver, spleen, hepatobiliary, renal scans, and lung imaging.
  • Administer and prepare radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging results.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure high standards of patient care and imaging quality.
Requirements:
  • Current and valid Certificate of Registration with the Association of Medical Radiation Technologists of the relevant province.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in general nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work varying shifts and work independently as part of a team.
