Job Title: Adult Care Lawyer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced lawyer to join our team as an Adult Care Lawyer. The successful candidate will provide legal advice and representation to the City of London in matters related to adult care, including municipal law enforcement, administrative tribunals, and business law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and representation to the City of London in matters related to adult care
  • Act as solicitor, counsel, and advisor to the City Solicitor and other senior officials
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to adult care
  • Represent the City of London in administrative tribunals and other legal proceedings
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of adult care services
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor and membership in good standing in the Law Society of Upper Canada
  • Three to five years of experience in municipal law, preferably in adult care
  • Advanced proficiency in French is an asset
