Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Gate of India Cochrane Inc. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of service quality
  • Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to maintain high standards of presentation and service
  • Establish work schedules to meet business needs, ensuring that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service
