About the Role

Aroma Interiors Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Taper to join our team. As a Drywall Taper, you will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Install drywall sheets, measuring, cutting, and fitting them to ensure a precise fit
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency and apply them to walls and ceilings
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to install drywall and plaster
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in drywall installation and plastering
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy drywall sheets
