Job Title: Community and Social Services Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community and Social Services Worker to join our team at Strive Living Society Penticton. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and services to clients in a group home setting. This includes administering programs dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder, personal and social adjustment, and health-related issues. You will work closely with clients, their families, and other social services agencies to ensure comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer programs and services to clients in a group home setting
  • Assess client needs and develop personalized support plans
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and social services agencies to ensure comprehensive support
  • Provide administrative and office support as needed
  • Develop and implement behavior management programs
  • Liaise with healthcare providers and other social services agencies
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
