About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Learning Operations Specialist to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Learning Operations Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality training programs to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Program Support: Provide administrative support for the planning, execution, and evaluation of instructor-led training programs, including virtual ILT workshops.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Coordinate with Learning Advisors, Learning Project Management team, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of training programs.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate with employees, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery of training programs.
  • Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues related to training programs, including technical issues, participant engagement, and time management.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks related to training programs, including enrollment, registration, and completion tracking.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Adult Learning, or Business, or related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in training coordination, production, and oversight, preferably in a financial services industry.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Tools and Technology: Familiarity with tools related to Skype for Business and MS Teams.
