Exemplary Leaders Sought for Vice-Principal Positions

The Upper Canada District School Board is seeking exceptional leaders to join our team as Vice-Principals. As a Vice-Principal, you will play a crucial role in supporting student learning and achievement, while also contributing to the development of a positive school climate.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Principal in leading the school community and promoting a culture of excellence
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student achievement and well-being
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance instructional practices and student outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to students, parents, and staff
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school improvement plans
- At least five years' teaching experience in multiple divisions (Primary, Junior, Intermediate, Senior)
- Completion of Ontario Principal's Course, PQP Part I (or proof of enrolment)
- Special Education Part 1 (or proof of enrolment)
- Demonstrated expertise in school improvement practices, assessment and evaluation practices, technology skills, and conflict management/communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in creating equitable learning opportunities and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion
