About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grocery Store Supervisor to join our team at M&A O'Connor Holdings Inc. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our grocery store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of store staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that the store is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is ordered and received in a timely manner and that stockroom is organized and well-maintained.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train store staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties to the best of their ability.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and implement strategies to prevent loss and reduce shrinkage, ensuring that the store's assets are protected.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a retail or grocery store environment
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational and time management skills
