Job Title: Quality Improvement Lead - RPN

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Improvement Lead - RPN to join our team at Banwell Gardens Care Centre. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our internal Quality Improvement program and ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the internal Quality Improvement program and ensure that it is aligned with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the care and services provided to our residents.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and submit the annual quality improvement plan and progress report.
  • Lead quality team meetings and ensure that all quality management and risk management activities are reviewed and discussed.
  • Monitor quality indicators and ensure that our organization is meeting the required standards.
  • Facilitate quality meetings and present data analysis and trends to the interdisciplinary team and stakeholders.
  • Participate in quality committees and assist in the completion of quality projects and evaluate their effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Registered health professional licensed under the Health Disciplines Act.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare practices, trends, and issues in long-term care.
  • Proven management experience in long-term care.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of quality and risk management philosophies and programs.
  • Master trained in resident/family and employee surveys and resident quality inspection process.
  • Good understanding of the RAI-MDS 2.0 process and CIHI's indicators.
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer applications and applicable legislation.
  • Positive working attitude and strong interpersonal and team building skills.
