Job Title: Director Structured Finance

About the Role:

As a Director of Structured Finance, you will play a key role in supporting our clients across Canada. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic support to clients through consulting and financial analysis
  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to meet client objectives
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop sector-specific funding strategies and guidelines
  • Supporting account managers and senior managers in the implementation of new financing files
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks to the bank
  • Participating in the preparation of files, including analysis and establishment of financing structures
  • Negotiating with internal and external stakeholders to secure financing
About the Team:

You will be part of a large team of expert colleagues, reporting to the Director of Credit Risk Underwriting. Our team is known for its expertise in complex credit structuring and execution. We work in a hybrid mode, offering a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, with 7 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 5 years of experience
  • Experience in complex trade credit, acquisition loans, and knowledge of business products and services
  • Ability to analyze complex financial models and manage priorities and timelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player mentality
