Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team at Jacobson & Greiner Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the accounting function and providing financial reporting and analysis to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile financial information between external software and accounting software to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage the cash flow cycle for the business, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Internal Reporting: Prepare internal management reports to support business decision-making, including variance analysis and budgeting.
- Team Leadership: Collaborate with other accounting staff to support and enable the department to meet overall goals and objectives.
- Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years experience in an accounting role with direct experience in preparing monthly financial statements.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage workflow to hit deadlines.
- Software: Experience with Sage 300 and advanced Excel functions is considered an asset.
