About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Public Health Nurse to join our team. As a Public Health Nurse, you will be responsible for promoting, protecting, and preserving the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities. Your duties will include:

  • Providing health education and promotion services to the public
  • Conducting health assessments and developing health plans
  • Collaborating with community partners to develop and implement health programs
  • Providing counseling and support services to individuals and families
  • Participating in health research and evaluation activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
