Library Services Coordinator

We are excited to present an opportunity for the position of Library Services Coordinator. Below are the essential details regarding this role, including necessary qualifications and responsibilities.
In this role, you will oversee the library's service desk, ensuring exceptional customer service and providing support for library and technology-related inquiries. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the checkout process for library materials and equipment.
- Facilitating room reservations and assisting patrons with their needs.
- Delivering first-level technical support, including troubleshooting connectivity issues and guiding users through self-service password management.
- Communicating library policies and procedures effectively.
- Handling all aspects of inter-library and intra-library loans as well as document delivery services.
- Overseeing the reserve collection and supporting various library services.
- Scheduling and supervising student assistants.
- Executing opening and closing procedures for the library.
- Creating engaging content for digital displays and bulletin boards.
- Generating library reports and managing account holds.
Candidates must possess a minimum of an Associate's degree or have four years of relevant experience in a library setting.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in an academic library environment is highly desirable.
Physical DemandsThe physical requirements for this position include the ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, talk, and hear. The role may require the use of hands and fingers for tasks such as typing and handling materials. Candidates should be capable of occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Vision requirements include the ability to see close, at a distance, and distinguish colors.
