About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Engineer to join our team at Syntronic - A Global Design House. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering data insights that drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that enhance the performance of our warehouse automation technology.
  • Design and implement data visualizations and analytics whitepapers to inform business decisions and drive technology solutions.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in data modeling, engineering, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines, data visualization, and statistical analysis.
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of and direct experience with AWS technologies and big data analytics tools (EMR, Athena).
  • Experience with information retrieval, data science, data mining, and using test/control methodology and machine learning techniques.
  • Knowledge in writing and optimizing SQL to handle extremely large datasets.
  • Working knowledge in scripting with R/Python for statistical analysis.
  • Experience in theory and practice of Design of Experiments and statistical analysis of results.
  • Experience with creating end-to-end dashboard solutions (i.e. with Tableau or similar BI tools) and reports that effectively convey insights to a wide range of users.
  • Proven ability to independently deliver end-to-end projects and articulate business impact to stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and building advanced visualizations.
  • Ability to deal with high ambiguity in a fast-paced business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
  • Experience with financial analytics and understanding of project payback models in a business context.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with business leadership and technical teams.
