About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality care to our residents at Inverary Manor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate Resident Care Plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to Resident Care staff, promoting a culture of quality and respect.
  • Collaborate with Management and Resident Care Staff to ensure effective communication and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Administer and record prescribed medication according to company policy and scope of practice.
  • Apply dressings and treatments as per physicians' orders and policy.
  • Assist with supervision, support, and evaluation of job performance of Resident Care staff.

About You

  • You are registered with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing or eligible to be registered.
  • You can work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • You can provide a clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector screening.
  • You have experience working with the elderly in a seniors' living or long-term care environment.
  • Alzheimer's and Dementia Care course is considered an asset.
  • You have a valid CPR & First Aid Certification.
