Job Title: Disabilities Program Manager

The Manitoba Government is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Disabilities Program Manager within Winnipeg Services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide leadership and support in the delivery of programs within the city of Winnipeg, reporting to the Director, Centralized Services or a Community Area Director.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and support in the delivery of programs, including policy interpretation, integrated case management, and program recommendations.
  • Implement and evaluate services, operational planning, financial management, and human resource management.
  • Supervise a team of service delivery staff and provide leadership support to staff through the ongoing integration and change process.
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary degree in social sciences (Bachelor of Social Work preferred).
  • Leadership experience in a social service delivery environment, including managing administration, service delivery, and planning and evaluation of services.
  • Experience in Human Resource Management, with the ability to supervise a service delivery team.
  • Experience with interpretation, evaluation, and implementation of policy.
  • Case management experience within one or more of the following programs: Employment and Income Assistance, Children's disABILITY Services, Community Living disABILITY Services.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in financial management, including managing budgets for operational and program resources.
