About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Moving Truck Driver to join our team at Hercules Moving Company Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mountain Driving Expertise: Safely operate a moving truck in mountainous terrain, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for clients and their belongings.
  • Logistics and Planning: Arrange travel itineraries, make reservations, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance and inspection.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods with care, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, maintaining open communication channels.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping and handling.
Required Certifications and Licenses
  • AZ Class License: Possess a valid AZ class license for operating a moving truck.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • GPS and Navigation: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment to optimize routes and ensure timely delivery.
  • International and Local Experience: Possess experience with international and local transportation, including long-haul and short-haul routes.
  • Security and Safety: Hold a valid passport and be willing to travel cross-border and for extended periods.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Communication Systems: Possess efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to work in a team environment.
