About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Labourer to join our team at Western Canada Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transportation of goods and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Logistics: Assist in the transportation of tools and equipment on push or hand cars, and assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles.
  • Warehouse Operations: Perform labouring duties in warehouses, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Training and Development: Participate in on-the-job training and mentorship programs to develop your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the development of a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
