Responsibilities:
TiMi Studio Group, an award-winning entity, is in search of a Junior Tools Developer to engage in the creation of a AAA, open-world gaming experience. This project aims to be accessible across various platforms, targeting a worldwide audience.TiMi Montreal is a newly established studio under the TiMi Studio Group umbrella, a subsidiary of Tencent Games. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with artists and designers to devise innovative solutions that cater to their requirements. Engage in the ongoing enhancement of our tools and pipeline based on user insights. Lay the groundwork for a productive and scalable work environment. Develop technology that aligns with our gaming vision and empowers content creators. Work alongside artists, designers, and animators to create solutions that meet their needs. Assess pipeline performance for continuous enhancement. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within our pipeline. Uphold high standards of coding quality and documentation. Prioritize productivity, scalability, and efficiency.Requirements:
Desired Qualifications:
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in software development or game production for consoles or PC; AAA game development experience is highly advantageous. Relevant project or internship experience in game programming, particularly with current generation video games (e.g., PS4/XBOX ONE) is preferred. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, particularly C# and C++. Familiarity with game engine and editor concepts is a plus (e.g., Unreal Engine). Ability to write robust, reliable, and efficient code along with excellent debugging and optimization capabilities. Strong analytical skills, comprehensive knowledge of game content creation pipelines, and the ability to quickly prototype and iterate in collaboration with others; a team-oriented mindset and a strong work ethic are essential.
