Team Lead Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Team Lead to lead our sales floor team and drive sales and profit growth at Reitmans, a leading Canadian women's fashion brand. As a Team Lead, you'll be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive team environment, implementing merchandise strategies, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales and profit growth by implementing effective merchandise strategies and managing store operations
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing sales floor team to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and on-the-spot feedback to team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Maintain a clean, consistent, and inviting store environment that meets company standards
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and District Manager to achieve company objectives and KPI goals
Requirements:

We're looking for a candidate with at least 6 months of leadership and/or supervisory experience in a customer experience-based environment. You should have experience mobilizing a team towards a common goal and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
  • At least 6 months of leadership and/or supervisory experience in a customer experience-based environment

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
