About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team at Platinum Stairs Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes in our residential building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning
    • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Carpentry and Construction
    • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
    • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
    • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Project Management
    • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites
    • Survey building locations and levels
    • Supervise and instruct other workers as needed
  • Quality Control
    • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential buildings and wooden structures
    • Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry and construction
  • Work Environment
