Logistics Supervisor

As a Logistics Supervisor at 1911253 Alberta Inc DBA Torque Logistics, you will oversee the daily operations of our trucking fleet, ensuring efficient and safe transportation services.
Key Responsibilities- Reporting: Prepare and analyze production and operational reports to enhance efficiency.
- Supervision: Manage and guide a team of drivers and support staff to achieve project goals.
- Training: Facilitate training sessions or coordinate with external trainers to enhance team skills.
- Monitoring: Operate and oversee signal and track switch control panels to ensure safe operations.
- Coordination: Schedule and organize activities to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the workplace.
- Personnel Management: Recommend actions regarding hiring, promotions, and other personnel matters.
- Maintenance Coordination: Oversee repairs and manage rental agreements for equipment.
- Procurement: Requisition materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for operations.
- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the logistics or transportation sector.
- Employment Type: Permanent position.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required.
- Work Hours: Availability for 32 to 40 hours per week.
