Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Haver & Boecker Canada. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of sales and orders, preparing sales or other contracts, and promoting sales to existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation of sales and orders
  • Prepare sales or other contracts
  • Promote sales to existing clients
  • Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
  • Identify and solicit potential clients
  • Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service
  • Deliver sales presentations
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
  • Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment
  • Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services
  • Resolve product and service related problems
  • Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
  • Provide customer service
  • Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service

Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced, and you will be required to work under pressure with tight deadlines. You must be able to distinguish between colors and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
