Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician II to join our team at Leica Biosystems, a global leader in cancer diagnostics. As a Field Service Technician II, you will play a critical role in supporting the needs of our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our medical devices, and contributing to the advancement of cancer diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide installation, maintenance, modification, and repair support for mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, and refrigeration instruments.
  • Document and complete service administration activities in a timely manner, adhering to ISO, FDA, and Leica policies.
  • Actively support the sale of service contracts, assist sales representatives and service team members with system configurations and upgrades, and provide feedback on ways to improve financial performance.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree with 3+ years of technical experience or 5+ years of equivalent technical work experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual English and French.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in diagnosing and repairing medical devices, electromechanical equipment, or scientific instruments.
  • Field Service Engineering and/or Networking/IT system upgrades.
  • A lab or hospital environment.

The salary range for this role is $65,000-$85,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
