Job Title: Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Floor Concepts Ltd. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including resilient flooring, hardwood flooring, and carpeting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install resilient floor coverings, hardwood floors, and carpeting
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces
Work Environment:

As a Flooring Specialist, you will work in an urban area, which requires you to be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials. You will also need to have good hand-eye coordination and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the flooring industry
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Good hand-eye coordination
