Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team as a Cook. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Menu Planning: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for special events and daily operations.
- Culinary Operations: Coordinate special events, prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Team Management: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Mentorship: Opportunities for mentorship, coaching, and networking for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, veterans, indigenous people, and visible minorities.
- Training: On-the-job training tailored to youth, and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for diverse groups.
