Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team for an adult caseload under secure Ministry funding. The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy services in clients' homes, utilizing their expertise to enhance the clients' functional abilities and overall well-being.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized plans to address their functional abilities and support systems.
- Deliver occupational therapy services using evidence-based practices, collaborating with clients' interdisciplinary teams and family members to achieve client-centered goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and progress toward goal attainment, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Address home safety, activities of daily living, and equipment needs, linking clients to community resources as necessary.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with COTO (Mentoring Available for Initial Practice)
- Excellent assessment and intervention skills, with strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on client-centered care
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Proof of professional liability insurance
