About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our team at Northbridge Financial Corporation. As a Senior Underwriter, you will play a critical role in providing complete solutions for Canadian small businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with broker partners to assess risks and make informed underwriting decisions
  • Utilize strong technical skills to ensure accurate risk assessments
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and drive business growth
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced underwriters to support their development

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial lines underwriting
  • Completed or pursuing CIP designation
  • Strong customer service background and team-first mentality
  • Small business experience is an asset
