Veterinary Receptionist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Tri Lake Animal Hospital and Referral Centre. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient and client care, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets, ensuring a positive experience at every interaction.
- Manage appointment scheduling, including booking and rescheduling appointments as needed.
- Process patient admissions and discharges, including updating medical records and handling billing and payment.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including restocking supplies and performing basic housekeeping duties.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient patient care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and veterinarians.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
