About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at A&W. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management team in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Performance Management
    • Conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient stock management.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to optimize costs.
  • Marketing and Customer Service
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant.
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns to provide excellent customer service.
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve team goals and objectives.
    • Supervise 1 to 2 people, with the potential to supervise 3-4 people in the future.
  • Employee Experience
    • Provide a positive work environment and support employees in their career development.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 37.5 hours per week.
