We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at SHO SUSHI BAR AND KITCHEN. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and provide guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Customer Service: Organize buffets and banquets, and manage kitchen operations to ensure timely and efficient service to our customers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding.
