Job Summary:

The First Cook is responsible for producing high-quality menu items in accordance with recipes and company standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of kitchen production, including setup and delivery of menu items.
• Prepare menu items to the highest standards, adhering to recipes and company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Report any concerns or issues related to kitchen operations to the Senior Chef de Partie.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure quality and quantity of production meet company standards.
• Participate in inventory management and suggest new methods to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

Familiarity with WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety Codes, and Food Safety regulations. Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
