Job Title: Academic Business Vice President

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Business Vice President to join our team at Duke College Inc.

Job Summary

The Academic Business Vice President will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing departments, and coordinating work across regions, divisions, or departments. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
Requirements
  • 11-15 years of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
