About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Department of Professional Practice (DPP) team as an Audit Methodology Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the development and implementation of our audit methodology, ensuring that our teams have the tools and guidance they need to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the DPP Audit & Assurance group with methodology matters, including the development and maintenance of Canadian content related to the application of our audit methodology.
  • Develop, update, and deliver training sessions related to the application of our audit methodology, as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other DPP teams and stakeholders to ensure that our audit methodology is aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the DPP Audit & Assurance group with Customization and Translation (C&T) matters, including our standardization initiative and other C&T-related projects.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the audit practice, with a strong background in audit methodology and quality control.
  • CPA designation or equivalent education.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English at a business level is required.
